Delete Saved/Incomplete Notice

Roles with the capability to delete a saved/incomplete notice:

  • Solicitation Managers
  • Solicitation Administrators
  • DPC Administrators

Delete Saved/Incomplete Notice Process

  1. Log in to Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Application (https://piee.eb.mil/).
  2. Open the Solicitation module by clicking the ‘Solicitation’ icon.
  3. Locate the notice under Incomplete Notices on the User Dashboard located on the Solicitation module home screen.
  4. Find the notice and click the Notice ID hyperlink to open the notice.
  5. Review the Solicitation notice information to ensure it is the correct notice.
  6. Click the Delete Notice button.
  7. Click the OK button on the Delete Notice Confirmation pop-up with the question “Are you sure you want to delete this notice? This action cannot be undone!”
  8. A success screen displays the message “Notice (ID Number) has been successfully deleted from the Solicitation Portal! Any other copies sent to other systems have not been deleted.”
  9. Click the Home button or use the Solicitation Navigation to return.

Cancel An Existing Notice

Solicitation has a Cancel Notice feature to cancel notices that have been submitted successfully; the Solicitation user must be listed as either the Primary or Secondary Solicitation Manager on the notice to be able to cancel. The Cancel Notice feature marks the notice as cancelled on PIEE and SAM.gov Contract Opportunities.

Cancel Notice Process

  1. Log in to Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Application (https://piee.eb.mil/).
  2. Open the Solicitation module by clicking the ‘Solicitation’ icon.
  3. Select Search on the Solicitation navigation bar; or locate the notice on the User Dashboard.
  4. Find the notice and click the Notice ID hyperlink to open the notice; refer to the Search training for more information .
  5. Review the notice information to ensure it is the correct notice.
  6. Click the Add Update button.
  7. Select the Cancel Notice checkbox.
  8. Create a unique four-digit Update Number.
  9. Click the Post Update button.
  10. Click the OK button on the Cancel Notice Confirmation pop-up with the question “Are you sure you want to cancel this notice? This action cannot be undone!”
  11. A success screen displays the message “Notice (ID Number) has been cancelled successfully!”.
  12. Click the Home button or use the Solicitation Navigation to return.

NOTE: To successfully cancel a Solicitation or Combined Synopsis/Solicitation notice, an “Amendment” document must be attached to the notice.
