Purpose

The PIEE Modifications and Delivery Orders (MDO) module provides contracting offices with an automated enterprise tool to support the contract writing process. MDO enables users to issue:

• Modifications against all open contracts/orders in Electronic Document Access (EDA).
• Delivery/task orders under all open contract vehicles in EDA.
• ARZ (mass) modifications against all open contracts/orders in EDA.

MDO

• Is accessible via Single Sign-On (SSO) via the web.
• Provides the ability to interface with contracting business systems.
• Provides the ability to create modifications and orders, publishing data, documents, and attachments to EDA.
• Removes individual agency system limitations.
• Allows mass upload of contracts and line items from templates to facilitate and streamline modification/order creation.
• Enables vendors/contractors to sign orders and bilateral modifications electronically.
