Overview of ECWM-DM

The ECWM-DM Pilot, which is built upon CON-IT, currently utilizes internal authorization and authentication functionality. As part of the Pilot, Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) has directed the ECWM-DM pilot utilize PIEE and the SSO capability for user authentication and authorization.

The 4th Estate is looking for a contract writing solution, allowing them to move users of SPS over to ECWM. ECWM-DM will be hosted in the cloud and the desire is to utilize PIEE SSO and access controls for registration and activation processes.

PIEE provides a single point of entry for the DLA ECWM-DM Contracting Writing Pilot.

User registration requests are routed to the supervisor for approval and then to the GAM for activation.

After activation, the ECWM-DM Contracting System icon will be displayed and the user will be provisioned in Contracting System using OAuth and Open ID Connect SSO technology.
